Directions

  1. Wash beets. Place beets in large saucepan and cover with water. Bring to boil. Boil for 30 min or possibly till tender. Cold. Peel and slice. Combine sugar, vinegar and spice in saucepan and bring to boil. Add in beets and bring to boil again. Simmer 5 min. Put in jars and seal.
