Directions
- Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl and blend in the lowfat milk, vanilla and egg. Mix well. Stir in the additional flavors listed below accordingly. Cook on a warm greased griddle, turning once. For waffles, use a waffle iron following manufacturer's directions. Makes 8 pancakes or possibly waffles.
- PUMPKIN: Add in 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice to the batter. Cook as usual.
- BANANA: Add in 1/2 c. mashed very ripe banana to the batter. Cook as usual.
- PECAN: For each pancake or possibly waffle, sprinkle 1 Tbsp. finely minced pecans onto the warm griddle or possibly waffle iron. Immediately pour batter on top. Cook as usual.
