Directions

  1. Combine first 6 ingredients in saucepan and cook over low heat, stir gently till thick. Cold. Stir in 1 tsp. almond extract.
  2. Combine in bowl the brown sugar, baking pwdr, salt, butter and flour and blend with pastry blender till crumbly. Stir in evaporated lowfat milk and nuts.
  3. Press 3/4 of the above mix in a 9x13 greased pan for crust. Spread peachy mix over crust. Top with remaining crumbs. Bake 350 degrees for 35-40 min.
