Ingredients

  • I've also adapted this recipe so that it can easily be made with ingredients at hand:
  • Put the apples and the onions in a pot or pan along with :
  • 3/4 cup of golden raisins
  • 2 tsp of kosher salt
  • 1 and 1/2 cups of sugar
  • Add in:
  • 1/4 tsp of Kashmiri chili or 1/4 tsp of cayenne
  • 1/4 tsp of ground cumin
  • 1/4 tsp of ground ginger
  • 1 tsp of mustard seeds
  • 1/4 tsp of dry mustard
