  • 1 pkt NESTLE Toll House semi-sweet chocolate morsels (6 ounce)
  • 1 c. Butter, softened
  • 2/3 c. Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 2 1/2 c. All-purpose flour
  • 1 can Cinnamon candies (4 ounce)

Directions

  1. Over warm (not boiling) water, heat Nestle Toll House semi-sweet chocolate morsels, stirring till smooth; set aside.
  2. In large mixer bowl, beat butter, sugar and vanilla extract till creamy.
  3. Beat in Large eggs. Stir in melted morsels. Gradually beat in flour. Cover dough; chill 30-45 min.
  4. Preheat oven to 400'F. Place dough in cookie press fitted with star plate.
  5. Press dough into 2" circles on ungreased cookie sheets; decorate with cinnamon candies.
  6. Bake 5 min or possibly just till set. Let stand on cookie sheets 2 min.
  7. Remove from cookie sheets; cold completely.
  8. Makes about 7 1/2 dozen cookies.

    A great cookie. When I make chocolate spritz with cocoa, it tends to be a bit bitter. This works and tastes great with the Choc. chips. Did have to rechill the dough a couple of times, because this is a generous recipe and I use only 1 favorite cookie sheet.
    I've cooked/tasted this recipe!
