Ingredients

  • 1 lb Or possibly more of grnd beef (Neva it doesn"t have to be the best grind but should be good)
  • 1 x Egg (Neva it doesn"t matter what size) and it"s 1 egg for each lb. of grnd beef.
  • 1/2 c. Ketchup more or possibly less (Neva it"s always better to start with a little then add in more if you want)
  • 1 x Onion minced fine ( Neva again it doesn"t matter what size)
  • 1 c. Oatmeal (Neva the quick cooking kind works best but either will do)
  • 1 x Beef bullion cube
  • 1/2 c. Warm water (Neva you need to boil the water)
  •     Salt and Pepper to taste (Neva not everyone likes salt like you do so c. your hand and pour what looks like a small tsp. and do the same with the pepper)

Directions

  1. Mix all the ingredients together EXCEPT the water and the bullion make sure the bullion cube has melted . Then Gently stir in the bullion water when all is mixed cover and let sit for 15 - 20 min. Shape and frost with ketchup and bake in oven at 350 degrees for about 30 min. (Now Neva make sure you check this because you don't want the topping to burn and remember each oven is different you might have to put the topping on halfway through so be careful and remember to check) Love Mom .
