  1. Sift dry ingredients together into bowl. Add in syrup, shortening and lowfat milk; beat 2 min. Add in Large eggs and beat 2 min. Add in choppeed nuts and mix well. Pour into 2 greased and floured 9" pans. Bake in 350 oven for 25 to 30 min. Frost. By Pamela Graves - Serves 18
