Directions

  1. Cook beef and onion in butter till lightly browned. Add in salt, pepper, celery and water. Simmer 15 min. Add in remaining vegetables; heat till warm. Combine thickening ingredients; add in to meat mix. Cook till slightly thickened, stirring constantly.
  2. Serve over warm cooked rice, chow mein noodles or possibly hamburger ROLLS. Serves about 8. Can do ahead or possibly in a crock pot. Freeze leftovers.

    This is the original recipe from the label on LaChoy Bean Sprouts. BUT...the thickening ingredients are not shown. Here they are: 3 T cold water, 3 T Cornstarch, 1 1/2 T Soy Sauce, 1 T Gravy Master, 1 1/2 tsp Sugar.
