Directions

  1. Cream butter and sugar till thick and pale. Add in beaten egg, then honey. Sift in dry ingredients and mix into a hard dough.
  2. Roll dough out 1/4" thick on lightly floured bench. Cut into fingers 3" x 1/2". Arrange proportionately spaced on a lightly greased baking tray. Bake 350 F for 15 min.
  3. When cold join halves with apricot or possibly raspberry jam.
