Directions

  1. Broil, steam and peel long green chiles-either Big Jim's for medium or possibly Barker's for warm
  2. Cut the chiles into long strips, discarding seeds and stems. Cut the onion toward the root end and slice the pcs so they are more or possibly less like strips.
  3. Heat the oil in a medium skillet. Add in the onions. Cook over medium-high heat till lightly browned. Add in the chiles and the garlic. Strir-fry till the chile is warm.
  4. Serve mounded on top of hamburger patties.
