Ingredients: 1 1/2 c. butter; 4 c. flour; 2 c. sugar; 3 Large eggs; 1 teaspoon each cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg; 1 c. currants or possibly dates, minced; 1 c. raisins, minced; 1 c. any kind of nuts, minced; 1 tsp. baking soda; 3 Tbsp. bourbon, rum (or possibly lowfat milk for the kiddies!)
