Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. grnd beef
  • 5 or possibly 6 whole green peppers
  • 1 1/2 - 2 c. uncooked Minute Rice
  • 1/4 c. minced onion
  • 1 (30 ounce.) jar spaghetti sauce (I use Ragu)

Directions

  1. Brown hamburger and onion. Meanwhile, clean peppers and boil in water for 5 min. Set peppers in baking dish. Add in spaghetti sauce to cooked hamburger, then add in rice. Simmer together about 10 min. Stuff peppers and bake in 350 degree oven for 30 to 40 min. Sometimes I add in a slice of Velveeta cheese on top of each pepper for the last 5 min of baking time. If I have more "stuffing" than peppers, I simply pack stuffing around peppers in baking dish.
