Ingredients
- 1/4 c. all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 1/2 c. fresh corn, cut off cob
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 T salad oil
- 2 egg whites
- Shortening
Directions
- Put together flour, salt, and baking pwdr. Beat egg yolks in medium size bowl, stir in corn, pepper, and flour mix. Blend in salad oil. Beat egg whites till peaks, then fold into mix. Drop from tbsp into frying pan with 1 inch of hot shortening. Cook till golden, turning once. Yields 1 1/2 dozen.
