Ingredients

  • 4 c. All-purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsp. Lard (yes, lard. Shortening doesn't work as well)
  • 1/2 c. Hot Lowfat milk
  • 1 Tbsp. Baking pwdr
  • 1 tsp Salt

Directions

  1. FLOUR TORTILLA
  2. Mix all the dry ingredients and sift.
  3. Fold in lard.
  4. Add in hot (not warm) lowfat milk gradually, knead til smooth.
  5. Cut into pcs.
  6. Roll out paper thin into round shape.
  7. Cook on warm griddle till lightly browned and "spotted".
