Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, beat egg substitute, flour, water, lowfat milk, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and sugar till well blended. Allow batter to rest for 5 to 30 min. Meanwhile, place 4 custard c. on a cookie sheet and heat in a 375 degree oven.
  2. When c. are warm pour in batter, filling each c. 2/3 full. Bake for 30 min. Make a slit in the side of each popover with a knife and return to a 350 degree oven for 5 - 10 min. Serve immediately.
  3. This recipe yields 12 popovers.
