Everyone's Favorite Appetizer Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 pkt cream cheese (or possibly Neufchatel Cheese)
  • 1 lb bacon, cut into 1/2" pcs and fried crisp (or possibly use the already cooked bacon and crumble it)
  • 1 x 8-ounce jar apricot preserves
  • 2 bn green onions, sliced

Directions

  1. Line a shallow dish (or possibly mold) with plastic wrap. Place the cream cheese on the wrap, and form the cheese to the shape of the dish. (Cheese does not have to be softened to do this; it actually works better if it isn't soft.)
  2. Chill till serving time.
  3. Turn the formed cheese onto a plate or possibly platter. Remove the plastic wrap.
  4. Top the cream cheese with the preserves, then the bacon, then the green onion. Serve with Breton water crackers or possibly other bland cracker. Best when everything is at room temperature.
