Ingredients
- 1 tbsp. and 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
- 1/2 c. diced onion
- 1/2 c. diced green pepper
- 2 c. canned crushed tomatoes
- 1 can minced green chilies
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoon warm sauce
- 1/4 c. thinly sliced green onions (white part only)
Directions
- In saucepan heat oil over medium heat; add in onion and pepper and saute/fry till onion is tender. Reduce heat, add in remaining ingredients, except green onion, and let simmer till sauce thickens slightly, 5-6 min. Allow to cold and stir in green onion. Chill and serve with white corn tortilla chips.
