  1. Use any leftovers vegetables you have on hand.
  2. Brown meat; drain. Add in to frzn vegetables in 2 qts boiling water. Add in remaining ingredients. Simmer till vegetables are tender. Remove bay leaves before serving. Serve with cornbread for a delicious cold weather meal. Makes about 10 servings. Freezes well or possibly keeps several days in refrigerator.
