Ingredients
- 5 c. minced sweet onions
- 1/4 c. butter, melted
- 1 c. cooked long grain rice
- 8 ounce. lowfat sour cream
- 1 c. (4 ounce.) shredded Swiss or possibly cheddar cheese
Directions
- Saute/fry onion in butter in large skillet, till tender. Remove from heat; stir in rice and lowfat sour cream. Spread half the onion mix in 8"x12" pan. Spread with half the shredded cheese. Repeat layers. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 30 min. Uncover and bake an additional 15 min or possibly till lightly browned. Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
