Directions

  1. Cook dry apples in water till tender. Lemon juice may be added for tartness. Add in sugar, cinnamon and salt. If it is to juicy add in a little thickening. Pour into pastry lined pie pan. Dot with butter and add in top crust. Bake in moderate oven 40 to 45 min. Serve with slice of cheese.
