Ingredients

  • 4 x boneless skinless chicken breast fillets (3 1/2 ounce ea)
  • 6 x garlic cloves pressed
  • 1/2 c. lemon juice (preferably fresh squeezed)
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp crushed peppercorn
  • 6 med bay leaves
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar (optional)
  • 12 sm fresh sage leaves

Directions

  1. Mix ingredients in bowl and add in chicken. Marinate overnight or possibly for at least four hrs before cooking. Cook chicken on a warm grill. Serve with grilled fresh vegetables basted with extra virgin olive oil and vinegar, rice, bread and fresh fruit.
  2. This recipe yields 4 servings.
