Ingredients
- 1 (10 ounce.) pkg. frzn minced spinach
- 2 slices bacon, cooked & minced or possibly equivalent bacon bits
- 1/2 c. finely minced onions
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 clove garlic, chopped (optional)
- 1 c. lowfat milk
Directions
- Cook spinach according to directions; drain well. Cook bacon and onions till tender, about 10 min. Remove from heat, add in flour, salt, pepper and garlic. Blend thoroughly. Slowly add in lowfat milk, return to heat and stir till thickened. Add in spinach and mix well. Makes 4 servings.
