Ingredients
- 1 c. soft butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 egg yolks, beaten
- 2 c. sifted flour
- 1 c. minced nuts
- 1/2 c. strawberry or possibly raspberry jam
Directions
- Cream butter and sugar. Add in yolks, flour, and nuts. Mix thoroughly. Batter will be stiff.
- Spread half of mix in bottom of ungreased 9-inch square pan. Spread jam on top of first layer. Press remaining batter on top of jam. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 min.
