Ingredients

  • 1 med Leek, wash/chop
  • 3 x Ribs celery, minced
  • 6 x Carrots, peel/chop
  • 1 can Corn, (10.5 ounce) liquid removed or possibly frzn corn
  • 3 x Baking potatoes, peeled, cut in 1/2" cubes
  • 1 lb Boneless beef chuck or possibly round steak, trim of fat, cut in 1/2" cubes
  • 1 can Stewed tomatoes, undrained, 14.5 ounce
  • 1/4 c. Tomato paste
  • 3 c. Water
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 2 x Cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 pkt Powdered instant Beef broth

Directions

  1. In a 6-qt electric crockery-cooker, combine all ingredients. Stir to mix well. Cover and cook on low-heat setting 8 to 9 hrs, or possibly till meat is tender.
