Ingredients

  • 6 wooden skewers or possibly ice cream sticks
  • 6 med. to sm. apples
  • 1/2 c. minced nuts
  • 1/4 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp. water
  • 1 (14 ounce.) pkg. caramels

Directions

  1. Insert skewers in stem end of each apple. Divide nuts into 6 mounds on wax paper.
  2. Heat chocolate chips, water and caramels over low heat. Dip each apple into chocolate mix, spooning mix over apple till completely coated. Roll each in nuts. Let stand till coating is hard. Makes 6 apples.
