Ingredients

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Combine bread crumbs, cheese and parsley.
  2. Saute/fry minced bacon and drain on absorbent paper. Add in the bacon to the bread crumb mix. This is the crumb topping for the chicken.
  3. In a pan, heat the butter, then add in the crushed garlic, Worcestershire sauce and mustard. Mix and heat through. Coat the chicken fillets with the butter mix by dipping them in the saucepan. Arrange in a shallow, ovenproof dish. Press the bread crumb mix on top of the chicken pcs to provide a crumb topping. Bake uncovered for 20 to 25 min.
  4. While the chicken cooks, make the basil sauce: in a saucepan combine all sauce ingredients except the egg yolk. Stir till heated and then add in the egg yolk, stirring till thickened. Don't boil. Pour the warm sauce over the chicken pcs just before serving.
