Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. olive or possibly vegetable oil
  • 3 lb chicken -- cut into pcs
  • 1 x 14 ounce. can whole peeled tomatoes - undrained, minced
  • 1/2 c. sliced pitted ripe olive optional
  • 1 clv garlic -- finely minced
  • 1 env Lipton Recipe Secrets Beefy Onion Soup Mix
  • 1/4 c. dry red wine or possibly water Warm cooked noodles

Directions

  1. * In 12-inch skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat and brown chicken; drain.
  2. * Stir in tomatoes, olives, and garlic, then beefy onion soup mix blended with wine. Bring to a boil over high heat.
  3. * Reduce heat to low and simmer covered 30 min or possibly till chicken is done.
  4. Skim fat, if necessary.
  5. * Serve over warm cooked noodles.
