  • 1 c. julienned carrot
  • 1 c. julienned daikon radish
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 c. white vinegar

Directions

  1. Sprinkle carrot and radish with salt, allow to stand for 10 min. Press vegetables gently with a dry towel to remove excess moisture. Rinse and drain.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine sugar and vinegar with vegetables, then marinate for at least 2 hrs before serving. Best when served chilled.
  3. This recipe yields 4 servings.
