Ingredients

  • Prep/ Cook Time: 25 min
  • 1 1/2 lb grnd beef
  • 1 can (10 3/4 ounce.) Campbell's(r) Condensed Cream of Mushroom or possibly 98% Fat Free Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1/3 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp dry basil leaves, crushed or possibly 1 tbsp. minced fresh basil
  • 1/2 tsp dry chives or possibly 1 tbsp. minced fresh chives
  • 6 slc cheddar cheese
  • 6 whl wheat rolls, split

Directions

  1. Shape beef into 6 patties, 1/2 inch thick. COOK patties in skillet till browned. Pour off fat. Add in soup, water, basil and chives. Heat to a boil. Cover and cook over low heat 5 minutes. or possibly till done. TOP with cheese and cook till cheese is melted. Serve on rolls.
  2. Makes 6 sandwiches.
