  1. Heat 1/4 C butter in saucepan over low heat. Blend in flour. Gradually stir in lowfat milk. Cook, stirring constantly, till mix thickens and comes to a boil. Cold to room temperature. Add in vanilla. Cream remaining butter with the sugar till fluffy. Gradually add in lowfat milk mix, beating till frosting is fluffy and of spreading consistency (about 5 minutes.)
  2. Frosts a 2 layer cake
