Ingredients

  • 10 ounce Frzn Boysenberries, thawed
  • 1 Tbsp. Confectioner's sugar
  • 1 tsp Cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp. Boysenberry liqueur, (optional) Chocolate ice cream topping Melted white baking chocolate Toasted pecans

Directions

  1. Puree Boysenberries in a food processor or possibly blender. Strain and throw away seeds.
  2. Place juice and pulp in a small saucepan. Stir in cornstarch till it dissolves; turn heat to medium. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in liqueur. Cover and chill.
  3. To serve, spoon Boysenberry sauce onto serving plate. Place 1 slice of commercially-prepared cheesecake or possibly lb. cake over sauce. Decoratively drizzle chocolates over cake. Sprinkle with toasted pecans.
