  • 3/4 lb boneless tender beef steak, 3/4" to 1" thi (sirloin, rib eye or possibly top loin)
  • 5 Tbsp. Kikkoman Stir-Fry Sauce divided
  • 1 lrg garlic clove chopped
  • 1/4 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper
  • 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil divided
  • 2 med green, red or possibly yellow bell peppers cut 1" squares
  • 1 med onion cut 1" squares

Directions

  1. Cut beef across grain into thin slices, then into 1-inch squares. Combine 2 Tbsp. stir-fry sauce and garlic in small bowl; stir in beef. Let stand 15 min.
  2. Meanwhile, combine remaining 3 Tbsp. stir-fry sauce and black pepper; set aside.
  3. Heat 1 Tbsp. oil in warm wok or possibly large skillet over high heat. Add in beef and stir-fry 1 minute; remove.
  4. Heat remaining 2 Tbsp. oil in same pan. Add in bell peppers and onion; stir-fry 3 min. Add in beef and stir-fry sauce mix; cook and stir only till beef and vegetables are coated with sauce and heated through.
  5. This recipe yields 4 servings.
