Ingredients
- 1 can baby lima beans (15 ounce) liquid removed
- 1 can butter beans (15 ounce) liquid removed
- 1 can kidney beans (15 ounce)
- 1 can pork and beans (28 ounce)
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 1 c. brown sugar adjust more or possibly less to your taste
- 1 c. apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 2 lrg onions finely diced choose one of these meats to add in to
- 1 lb raw bacon, diced
- 1 lb cooked sausage (italian or possibly portuguese)
- 2 lb cooked grnd beef.
Directions
- Mix all ingredients together in a LARGE casserole (can also use your crockpot). Bake, uncovered, at 325 degrees for three hrs. Stir once every hour.
- Diane Says: Yesterday I made a HUGE batch of these beans for a family dinner when my parents celebrate their 60th Wedding Anniversary on Sept. 2nd. After they were baked and cooled, I put them in containers and put them in the freezer. I've done it this way before and now I'll just have to thaw them and will reheat in crockpots.
