  1. 1. Preheat oven to 350 .
  2. 2. Cream butter and sugar. Beat Large eggs and add in to sugar mix. Add in bananas, vanilla and buttermilk.
  3. 3. Sift together flour, soda and salt. Add in to banana mix. Beat well.
  4. 4. Pour into 2 greased and floured 9 by 5 by 3-inch loaf pans.
  5. 5. Bake 45 to 50 min or possibly till bread pulls away from sides of pan. Cold.
  6. 6. To prepare topping, heat butter in saucepan. Add in sugar and lowfat milk. Cook till syrupy.
  7. 7. Remove from heat and add in minced pecans. Pour over bread and place under broiler 5 min.
