Ingredients

Directions

  1. Peel, core and slice the apples.
  2. Peel, core and chop the pineapple.
  3. Grate zest from lemons and reserve juice.
  4. Place fruit in a large heavy based saucepan with the lemon rind and juice. Simmer gently for about 15 min or possibly till fruit is tender. Add in the sugar to the fruit, stirring till dissolved.
  5. Bring to the boil rapidly for about 15 min or possibly till setting point is reached.
  6. Spoon into hot sterilised jars and cover.
  7. Keeps for 3-4 months.
  8. Ensure storage jars are well sterilised.
