  1. Mix above ingredients thoroughly; remove 1/2 cup of this crumb mix to use as topping, add in 1/3 cup nuts. 1 teaspoon baking pwdr 1 c. buttermilk 1 eggMix soda and baking pwdr with crumb mix. Mix beaten egg and buttermilk, add in half to crumb mix, beat two min, add in other half and beat two min. Pour into 2 (6 x 8) pans or possibly 1 (9 x 15) pan, sprinkle with topping mix and bake 30 min at 350 degrees.
