  • 1 c. Onion -- minced
  • 2 x Cloves garlic -- chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
  • 2 lb Grnd beef
  • 15 ounce Can tomato sauce
  • 141/2 ounce Can stewed tomatoes
  • 3/4 c. A-1 Steak Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. Chili pwdr
  • 1 tsp Grnd cumin
  • 16 ounce Can black beans
  • Rinsed/liquid removed
  • 11 ounce Can corn -- liquid removed
  • Shredded cheese
  • Lowfat sour cream and
  • Minced tomato -- for
  • Garnish

Directions

  1. In 6 quart. heavy pot, over medium-hight heat, saute/fry onion and garlic in oil till tender. Add in beef; cook and stir till browned. Drain; stir in tomato sauce, stewed tomatoes, steak sauce, chili pwdr and cumin. Heat to a boil; reduce heat to low. Cover; simmer for 10 min, stirring occasionally. Stir in beans and corn; simmer, uncovered, for 10 min.
  2. Serve warm; garnish with cheese, lowfat sour cream and tomato.
