Very Easy Cinnamon Rolls Recipe

Ingredients

  • 5 1/4 c. flour
  • 2 1/2 c. lukewarm water
  • 2 pkg. yeast (quick rise is best)
  • 1 Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
  • 1 c. flour
  • 3 Large eggs
  • 1/3 c. oil

Directions

  1. Dissolve yeast in water for about 3 min. Add in 1 c. flour, 3 Large eggs, cake mix, oil and salt. Beat with beater till bubbles appear. Then add in 3 1/4 c. flour very slowly. If too sticky, add in more flour. Stir with a spoon and make a soft dough. Knead on floured surface for at least 5 min. Let rise in hot place till double.
  2. Roll out approximately 1/4 inch thick. Spread with butter, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Add in minced nuts and raisins, if you like. Roll up as jelly roll and stretch. Cut and place on greased pan. Allow to rise till double. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 min. Ice with powdered sugar icing while warm.
