Ingredients
- 2 pound lean hamburger
- 3 (16 ounce.) stew tomatoes
- 2 lg. chili beans in warm gravy
- 2 (16 ounce.) tomato sauce
- 1-2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 whole cloves garlic, chopped
- 3 (16 ounce.) cans kidney beans
- 1 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1 (10 ounce.) jalapenos, diced
- 1-2 teaspoon salt
- 4 tbsp. chili pwdr
Directions
- In large pot brown hamburger with the garlic. Add in all remaining ingredients stirring well after each addition. Simmer 2-3 hrs stirring occasionally. Pour into a fresh pot which has been greased with a little extra virgin olive oil. Let stand for 2-3 hrs then heat to serve. Top with grated cheese and oyster crackers. For the real daring you can add in 2 Tbsp. chili seeds during second warming.
