%20and%20it's%20also%20from%20the%20Joy%20of%20Cooking%20by%20Rombauer.%20%20:)%20%20I%20was%20pretty%20impressed%20with%20how%20the%20turned%20out%20too...although%20I%20think%20my%20favorite%20sugar%20cookies%20will%20still%20be%20the%20ones%20my%20Mom%20makes.%20%20:)%20%20I%20also%20had%20some%20fun%20with%20frosting/icing%20them%20this%20afternoon.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDo%20as%20I%20say%20and%20not%20as%20I%20do.%20%20Put%20something%20like%20a%20plastic%20cutting%20board%20underneath%20when%20frosting/icing%20your%20cookies.%20:)This%20recipe%20is%20called%20%22Roll%20Cookies%22%20and%20can%20be%20found%20on%20pg.%20711%20of%20the%20Joy%20of%20Cooking%20cookbook.%20%20I%20will%20also%20post%20it%20below...%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EChill%20dough%20for%203-4%20hours.%20(Although%20I%20only%20did%20about%2030%20minutes...)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20oven%20to%20375%20degrees.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERoll%20and%20cut%20cookies.%20%20Place%20on%20greased%20cookie%20sheet.%20%20Bake%207-12%20minutes.%20%20(I%20only%20had%20to%20bake%20mine%20about%206-7minutes)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERoll%20it.%20%20Mark%20it.%20%20Cut%20it%20with%20a%20star%20cutter.%20%20Stick%20'em%20in%20the%20oven%20for%20you%20and%20me!%20;)%20Then%20once%20all%20my%20cookies%20were%20baked%20and%20cooled%20(on%20cooling%20racks)%20I%20started%20my%20frosting%20and%20icing.%20%20:)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt%20was%20just%20a%20simple%20recipe%20that%20is%20Powdered%20Sugar%20and%20water%20until%20you%20get%20it%20to%20this%20consistency%20for%20the%20icing.%20%20And%20then%20add%20more%20powdered%20sugar%20for%20the%20frosting.%20%20:)%20%20Make%20it%20what%20you%20want%20it%20to%20be.%20%20Add%20flavors%20or%20colors%20if%20desired!%20%20:)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELike%20I%20said....color%20'em%20if%20you'd%20like.%20%20:)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EYou%20can%20pipe%20frosting%20around%20the%20edge,%20let%20dry%20and%20fill%20with%20colored%20icing.%20%20Or%20dip%20cookies%20into%20icing...or...%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDo%20whatever%20makes%20your%20heart%20happy%20and%20sing!%20%20:)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHappy%20Baking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!%20:)%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
