Ingredients
- 3 x Egg whites
- 1/4 tsp Cream of tartar
- 3/4 c. Sugar
- 1 x 8 ounce package cream cheese
- 1 c. Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1 lrg Cart Cold Whip
- 6 c. Strawberries, whole
- 2 c. Strawberries, sliced
- 1 lrg Pack strawberry jello
- 2 c. Boiling water
Directions
- 1. Beat egg white with cream of tartar till foamy. Add in sugar a little at a time till stiff peaks form. Spread on brown paper on cookie sheet to make a crust. Bake at 275 degrees for 1 1/2 hrs. Turn oven off, leave meringue shell in oven till cold.
- 2. Blend cream cheese, sugar and vanilla, mix in cold whip and spread over meringue shell.
- 3. Dissolve jello in water, refrigeratetill it begins to set. Stir in strawberries, just to coat. Pile strawberries high on filling. Chill.
