Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 1 medium onion, coarsely chopped (you could also add some celery, carrot or garlic)
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2-1/2 cups low-sodium chicken stock
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 springs fresh thyme
  • 4-7 pound bone-in turkey breast, trimmed(remove backbone and extra skin or fat)
  • Salt, pepper and paprika

    I agree Patti ~ it doesn't have to be November to get a craving for turkey and gravy! This is a good way to have your feast mid summer, and keep the kitchen cool enough to enjoy.
