Ingredients

  • One (15 oz.) can packed pumpkin puree' (not to be confused with pumpkin pie filling)
  • One (12 oz.) can of evaporated milk
  • 3 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 and 1/2 cups of granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp. of cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. of salt
  • For the Topping:
  • 1 package of yellow butter cake mix
  • 1 cup of chopped pecans
  • 2 sticks (1 cup) of melted unsalted butter
