Ingredients
- 2 can (sm) Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 1 can (sm) Whole Mushrooms
- 1 pkt Onion Soup Mix
- 1/4 c. Lowfat milk
- 3/4 c. White rice (uncooked)
- Â Â (Salt & Pepper &/or possibly other spices for flavor and personal taste)
- 4 med Sized Pork Chops
Directions
- Saute/fry the Pork Chops in a very warm frying pan to seal in the juices and partially cook.
- Mix the Cream of Mushroom soup, mushrooms, powdered Onion Soup Mix, lowfat milk, and uncooked grains of rice together in a bowl. Pour about half of this mix into a casserole dish. Lay the pork chops on top of it. Cover them with the other half of the mix.
- Bake on a 250 degree oven for approximately two hrs. Check for doneness.
- Remove from oven, and serve. (The rice should be cooked and the pork chops will be very tender.)
