Ingredients
- 3 c. Water
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- Â Â Sm Apple, minced
- 2 Tbsp. Sliced Almonds
- 2Â 2/3 c. Skim Lowfat milk
- 1/2 tsp Grnd Cinnamon
- 1Â 1/3 c. Regular Rolled oats
- 1/4 c. Pitted whole Dates, snipped
- 1 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
Directions
- In a medium saucepan combine water, cinnamon, and salt. Bring to boiling; stir in oats. Cook for 5 min, stirring occasionally. Let stand, covered, until of desired consistency.
- Divide oatmeal among 4 serving bowls. Top each bowl with minced apple, snipped dates, sliced almonds, and brown sugar. Divide lowfat milk among serving bowls.
