Directions

  1. This is a nice, easy, quick, adpated sauce stolen from Cooking Light which I made last night:Saute/fry peppers and onions in liquid of choice (I used sherry cooking wine, it was good) for 10 min (I needed to keep adding liquid in bits during this time).
  2. Add in mushroom, garlic and oregano, saute/fry for 2 min
  3. Add in sauce and wine, bring to a boil and simmer for 20 min
  4. Serve on noodles of choice (I put mine on wheat noodles, it worked).
  5. Sprinkle with cheese if you like. I actually forgot to do this, and it tasted just great without.
  6. And, it tastes even better the next day, that I can attest to sitting here eating the leftovers for lunch!
