Ingredients
- 2 tbsp. butter, room temp.
- 1 tbsp. oil
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. honey
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp. water
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 c. quick rolled oats
- Fruit, nuts or possibly chocolate bits (opt.)
Directions
- Grease cookie sheets, set aside. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Blend butter, oil, brown sugar, honey, egg and water thoroughly. In another bowl, mix flour, salt and baking soda; add in rolled oats. Stir and blend 2 mixtures together. Add in fruits, nuts or possibly chocolate bits (if you like). Drop by tsp. onto prepared cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 min. Makes 3 dozen.
