Homemade White Sauce Mix Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 c. Instant dry lowfat milk -- Or possibly
  • 1 1/2 c. Regular non-instant nonfat Dry lowfat milk
  • 1 c. Unbleached flour
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 1 c. Butter or possibly margarine

Directions

  1. Combine dry lowfat milk, flour and salt; mix well. Cut in butter or possibly margarine till mix resembles fine crumbs. Put in a large airtight container; label with date and contents. Store in refrigerator. Use within about 2 months.
  2. Makes 1 qt Homemade White Sauce Mix.
