Ingredients
- 1/2 lb Beef round steak, cut 3/4 inch thick.
- 1 Tbsp. All purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 dsh Pepper
- 1/4 x Minced onion
- 1 Tbsp. Veg. oil
- 1 c. Water
- 1/2 tsp Instant beef bouillon granules
- 6 x Tiny whole carrots, or possibly 2 medium carrots, cut into inch long pcs
- 1 sm Zucchini, sliced (1 c.)
- 1/4 tsp Dry dillweed
- 1 sm Tomato, peeled, cored, and cut into wedges.
Directions
- Cut meat into 2 serving size pcs. Combine flour, salt, and pepper; lb. thoroughly into meat, using meat mallet. In 8 inch skillet brown meat and onion in warm oil. Remove from heat. Add in water and beef bouillon granules. Return to heat and simmer, covered, for 35 min.
- Add in carrots; cover and simmer for 12 min. Add in zucchini and dillweed; sprinkly with additional salt and pepper. Continue cooking about 5 min longer or possibly until meat and vegetables are tender. Add in tomato wedges to meat mix and heat
