Ingredients
- 3 lb Corned beer
- 6 x Carrots, halved lengthwise
- 6 x Potatoes, halved lengthwise
- 1 med Head cabbage
- 3 c. Water
- 6 x Turnips, quartered
Directions
- Place corned beef & water in crockpot. Cover. Set on high. When steaming vigorously, set to med & continue cooking 2 1/2 hrs.
- Remove meat from cooker. Put potatoes, turnips, carrots & cabbage in crockpot. Place meat on top of vegetables. Cover & when mix is steaming briskly, set to medium. Cook for 45 min. Ham may be used in place of corned beef, if you like.
